KAISER+KRAFT was well prepared when eCommerce became a major topic in European trade in 1999. In 1995, we already started to record our workshop, office and warehouse equipment in a media neutral database. At present, more than 25 000 products are available electronically. Since 1997, various CD Rom catalogues, web shop contents and eProcurement catalogues have been produced using this database by the push of a button. A special Content Team was formed to generate, maintain and further develop the product data. Due to many years of experience, the catalogue contents have been improved in quality on a continuous basis. Product descriptive text, attributes, graphics and additional key words at item level that help the customer find products are supplemented on a constant basis. The benefits of an eProcurement system depend on the quality of the product data. As an international mail order company, KAISER+KRAFT bears a high degree of responsibility for its customers. A few years ago, the production of electronic catalogues was still a great challenge for many companies and suppliers. Today, the production of these catalogues in various formats and with different hierarchies, has become day-to-day business. The circulation of the BMEcat may contribute towards the standardisation of the exchange formats, however numerous customer-specific versions are available that bear hardly any resemblance to the original. The demand for various classification systems, UOM sets and special requests, such as e.g. certain image formats, completes the requirements of an electronic catalogue. Due to the constant maintenance of all 25 000 products and last but not least due to many years of experience, KAISER+KRAFT GmbH is able to meet all requirements to the satisfaction of the customers. At present, more than 200 catalogues are available in 40 different formats using up to 15 different classification systems.

From the numerous classification systems, KAISER+KRAFT provides three eCl@ss versions and all UNSPSC versions as well as supplier-specific classifications and customer-specific classifications on agreement.

Individual customer web shop
We can set up an individual customer web shop for you, custom-tailored to your demands. You can use it to send us your orders directly. Your terms and conditions are stored in the web shop and your logo is also displayed. Range limitations and a specific customisation are possible on request.

SAP-OCI web shop
You use SAP and would like to connect our web shop to your system via OCI (Open Catalog Interface)? No problem. You can use our SAP-OCI web shop to set up your own shopping baskets and apply them in your SAP system before you send orders to us from your SAP system. We of course customise the SAP-OCI web shop to meet your individual requirements. The determined prices as well as product data stored for you are available in the web shop and are transferred to the OCI interface.

Ariba Punchout web shop
We can also provide you with an Ariba Punchout web shop in addition to the OCI web shop. You can use it to transfer the relevant product information to your Ariba system. The applicable prices as well as the corresponding product data are stored here.
We have been dealing with the electronic exchange of business documents with our customers for several years. We have developed standardised interfaces for this purpose. The integration into our enterprise resource planning system is highly practical for customers with a large order volume.
