Conveyor systems

Let's take Heraclitus at his word: all is flux. Or better: everything flows. Because thanks to intelligent conveyor belt systems, you can now move heavy loads through the warehouse, company and mail order centre without straining your muscles. The result: an optimal flow of goods.

Downtime? No way!

Nothing stops moving when intelligent conveyor technology is in use. Conveyor technology allows you to stimulate and systematise transport routes within the company. However, do actually know what had a decisive influence on the conveyor technology as we know it today? American abattoirs! After all, from the mid 19th century onwards, the population of the USA tripled and food production needed to be structured more efficiently. Production line technology may this easy to realise. Just a few decades later, Henry Ford revolutionised automobile production with his conveyor belts: the twelve hours that were once necessary to produce a vehicle could be cut to just 93 minutes. That made production much more cost efficient and thereby made the vehicle much more affordable for the end customer.

Inspired by Ford: how to structure your company more efficiently

Today's conveyor belt technology also aims to organise complex processes more efficiently. While setting up your automated transport solutions, you should keep the following in mind: speed is the highest priority, and material flows must proceed as smoothly as possible. Loads both heavy and light can be transported using a conveyor system: individual items and long goods, pallets and drums, but also packages and small boxes. We have products that are suitable for this, such as roller conveyors with a max. load of 150 daN between two feet, skate wheel conveyors for a light conveyor belt system, or ball unit tables that are flexible in every direction. The specific factors at your company must also be considered, whether it's uneven surfaces, limited space or hazardous substances. In these cases, selecting the right materials is of utmost importance: this is why we give you a choice between conveyor belt system products made of steel, aluminium, or plastic. For inclines, corners or long distances you should purchase an additional drive: electric or with a round belt and, if needed, in a suitable combination for non-driven rolls. We gladly help you select your unique conveyor belt solution for your company logistics. Contact us.
