MULTI storage tank – approved solution for storage and transport
The MULTI storage tank combines safe storage with high mobility. It is approved for internal and external transport according to ADR, provided no pump is mounted, and is suitable for storing fresh and waste oil, diesel as well as heating oil with a flash point above 55 °C. Depending on requirements, the tank is available with a capacity of 400, 750, 1000 or 1500 litres.
The double-walled design consists of a galvanised sheet steel outer tank and a PE inner container. There are 4 connections with a 2'' female thread on top of the tank.
An integrated, galvanised sheet steel sump tray increases safety during storage. The level indicator allows quick checking of the tank contents. In addition, an optical leakage indicator provides early warning of potential leaks. The general technical approval from the DIBt, Berlin, supports standard-compliant use.
For internal transport, the storage tank features integrated carrying handles and a permanently attached sheet steel pallet. This can be accessed from four sides with a stacker or pallet truck. The low centre of gravity improves stability and facilitates handling. The low overall height allows filling without an additional step for tank sizes up to 1000 litres.
The MULTI is designed for indoor use as well as covered outdoor areas. Recurring inspection takes place after 2.5 years in accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1b; the transport approval for the PE tank is valid for five years. The storage tank is ideal for workshops, vehicle fleets, municipal depots, agriculture and manufacturing plants where oils and fuels need to be stored safely and moved flexibly.
