The insect killer is ready for use immediately and effectively attracts insects such as flies and mosquitoes in a high voltage grate by using ultraviolet LED light. It works most efficiently when positioned at a height of approx. 2 m opposite a window and operates throughout the day and night. This also keeps it out of the reach of children and pets. As soon as the device is plugged into a standard mains socket, it starts operating. If the catch rate is high, the insect killer should be cleaned more frequently; cleaning it every week ensures an optimal function. When cleaning, the brush included with the device can be used to remove all the mosquitoes and flies killed from the high voltage grate. The LED tube is easy to clean using a slightly damp cloth and the brush. To empty the bottom tray, simply pull it out of the holder and empty it.
Both the ultraviolet LED light and the high voltage grate present no danger to humans or pets. Mains operation.
Note:
UV devices must not be used outdoors, as non-selective insect catchers (devices with UV light to lure insects) not only trap pests, but also beneficial insects. The special lamps that the device contains are only suitable for attracting insects in combination with the aforementioned insect catchers and are neither suitable for lighting a room at home, nor for use for other applications.
