For depositing small open items in the tank. Lid is held open with a pedal. Brass drainage tap in the bottom of the basin simplifies emptying of the tank. Liquid spilled during emptying drains into the base sump. Perforated base permits coarse dirt to settle. The parts basket makes it easy to immerse smaller objects.
