Paper towels with interfold folding, also known as paper towels with M-folding, are designed for single-sheet dispensing. The single-sheet dispensing promotes hand hygiene by minimizing the risk of contamination, as only the sheet currently used for hand drying is touched. The single-sheet dispensing also contributes to cost reduction, as only the paper towels actually used for hand drying are removed.
