ESD 450 FH torque wrench, type ESD FH graduation (mechanical)

The Gedore ESD 450 FH torque wrench is the ideal solution for controlled bolt tightening in a range from 0.5 to 4.5 Nm. It is ideal for series assembly where consistent values when tightening are essential. This torque wrench is particularly useful in the electronics industry, precision mechanics and industrial production, where precision and efficiency are of key importance.

As a fixed torque wrench without a scale, the ESD 450 FH ensures maximum reliability and is equipped with a 1/4'' hexagon socket holder for the actuation of 1/4'' bits in accordance with DIN 3126 C6.3. It is classified in accordance with EN ISO 6789 Type II Class F and comes with a traceable test certificate. Calibrated to a permissible deviation of ±6% from the set value, this screwdriver fulfils the highest requirements when it comes to precision. It is also EPA compliant (Electrostatic Protected Area) and therefore ideal for use for applications sensitive to electrostatic charges.

A special feature of the ESD 450 FH is the precision recirculating ball clutch, which enables controlled clockwise and anti-clockwise tightening. The precision mechanism slips noticeably when the set value is reached, after which it automatically returns to the starting position. The ergonomically designed handle ensures fatigue free use and features smooth and comfortable actuation. Calibration stickers are easy to affix to the lug provided to document the settings. The fixed setting for the wrench can either be made at the factory or by hand using a suitable test device. When the setting is fixed at the factory, the required Nm value must be specified when ordering (price upon request).

The ESD FH torque wrench, as well as models such as the ESD 450 FH and ESD 1350 FH, are supplied complete with an additional T handle to make work easier.
