Product description
- Open head drum for the collection and transport of damaged lithium batteries/rechargeable batteries until disposal
- Special valve on the lid allow gas and pressure to escape in the event of an incident involving lithium batteries
- Includes approx. 30 l vermiculite as a buffer/filler material – satisfies all requirements of safety and fire protection
Special safety drum with lid secured by clamping ring, 60 litres.
Special valve for pressure relief in the event of damage – uses the same operating principle as a pressure cooker.
Filled drums may only be stacked using intermediate panel/stacking aid.
Suitable for lithium batteries from > 0.5 kg to approx. 5 kg per battery or with an edge length of approx. 100 mm.
Ideal for safe storage of defective rechargeable batteries for power tools, gardening equipment, electric bikes, electric scooters, etc.
Includes plastic liner bag – half filled with absorbent, impact absorbing buffer/filler material vermiculite (approx. 30 l).
For use with vermiculite as a buffer material.
Permissible overall weight: 60 kg.
