The BID floor scale is a powerful industrial scale with innovative dual-range technology, which enables precise weighing across two measuring ranges. With a weighing range, depending on the description, from 600 kg to 1,500 kg and a readability of 0.1 kg / 0.2 kg, this platform scale offers maximum accuracy and flexibility – ideal for applications in production, warehousing, logistics, and shipping.

The dual-range function is particularly noteworthy: For low loads, the scale operates with a particularly high resolution, while for higher weights, it automatically switches to the larger weighing range. This way, light and heavy goods are measured with equal precision – an ideal solution for businesses with varying weighing requirements.

The robust weighing platform is made of solid steel with non-slip chequer plate and is fully welded. This allows the floor scale to withstand high loads and demanding industrial environments without problems. Four silicone-coated load cells ensure even load distribution and stable measurement results across the entire surface. Thanks to its IP67 ingress protection, the scale is optimally protected against dust and splash water and is therefore suitable for daily use in harsh working environments. With an overall height of only 108 mm, the platform scale can be perfectly integrated into existing work processes. The easy-to-read LCD display with 25 mm digits ensures a clear display of measurement results, even in difficult lighting conditions. The evaluation unit can be flexibly mounted on the wall or on the desk and features an RS-232 interface for data exchange with external systems. Modern communication interfaces such as USB, Bluetooth, WLAN, or Ethernet are optionally available.

The BID floor scale impresses with its practice-oriented additional functions such as piece counting, summation, percentage determination, and tolerance checking, which significantly simplify daily work in industrial applications. The integrated levelling system enables easy adjustment, and access to the junction box from above facilitates maintenance and service. It is excellently suited for goods inwards and goods outwards, packaging processes, quality controls, as well as for production lines with high accuracy requirements.
