What makes a boltless shelving unit a boltless shelving unit?
A boltless shelving system consists of three components: upright frames, shelves and cross struts.

The standard shelf unit.
Standard shelf units consist of two upright frames, two cross struts and any number of individual shelves. The diagonal cross struts ensure that the shelf unit remains stable, and they are attached to the rear of the shelf unit.
The extension shelf unit.
Extension shelf units only have one upright frame, which allows them to be attached to a standard shelf unit – and they only have one cross strut. The shelves are placed on shelf supports both in the case of the standard shelf unit and the extension shelf unit.
Single or double sided rows of shelves.
This modular system allows you to upgrade boltless shelving units with any number of extension shelf units and open up many potential uses. Use boltless shelving units next to each other, or as a shelf row, or place two shelves with their backs to each other as a shelf row that is accessible from two sides.
(Single) boltless shelving units for use on two sides.
Straightforward boltless shelving units are also suitable as space saving shelving units that can be used on both sides. Instead of diagonal cross struts, they can be secured using bracing beams that support the shelves. The number of bracing beams depends on the shelf height and max. shelf load.
