Fight fires – quickly and intuitively. The VLITEX PREMIUM fire blanket can do just that and is also an environmentally friendly method for extinguishing conventional fires. And no additional extinguishing agents, such as water, powder or foam, are required. The fire blanket is ideal wherever a fire needs to be brought under control quickly and where access for hoses or tanker vehicles is difficult. In its matching carrying bag, it is transported to the scene and spread out over the source of the danger. Firefighting with silicone-coated fibreglass blankets is a resource-saving, environmentally friendly method. The fabric permanently withstands temperatures of up to 600 °C, and even up to 1000 °C for short periods. By cutting off the oxygen supply, a fire is extinguished within a short time. Depending on the fire load and damage such as cuts or holes, the blanket can be reused multiple times.

The German manufacturer VLITEX GmbH equips, among others, the fire brigade and industry with safety products based on technical textiles. Tested according to the relevant standards:
– Temperature resistance certified by KIWA (+1000 °C)
– Electrical resistance according to DIN 54345-1 confirmed by Hof University of Applied Sciences (< 1.0 x 10⁶ Ω)
– Cut resistance according to ISO 13997:1999-08 confirmed by STFI (18.45 N)
– Fire behaviour according to DIN EN 13501 confirmed by MPA (A2)
– Fire test according to DIN SPEC 91489
