Platform system extension – Raab

And although the exhibition areas at Raab Home Company GmbH, located in the Bavarian uplands, already cover a total 3,000 m², due to high demand, a warehouse with ever greater capacity was required. Discover how, despite a challenging installation situation, we were able to extend the existing stage system and fulfil requirements.

Raab Home Company GmbH was founded back in 1950. What began as a small joinery has since developed into one of the most trendy and finest addresses for beautiful furniture and modern interiors in the entire Bavarian uplands. Requirements
The Raab Home Company GmbH required the extension of an already existing platform system at an angle of 90° with transition to a raised level. The main challenge lay in connecting the extension to the existing stage system. In addition, a prefab office, whose exhaust system and column position had to be taken into account in the ceiling construction, was to be built.
Solution
At the start of this project, the client was expertly advised by one of our representatives on site before the three-month planning phase began. The proposed solution for the extension of the platform system was carried out reliably, competently, and to the client’s utmost satisfaction.
The special conditions on site necessitated digital measuring using a GPS laser device, assembly and erection with a Manitou lifting bar, as well as casing of the supports in the office area. In addition, a raised platform area was prepared to enable the customer to subsequently attach a separately constructed office wing.
