Escape route signage – clear orientation in emergency situations
The escape route signage supports quick and safe orientation in buildings, businesses and public institutions. The green emergency signs indicate escape routes and emergency exits and help to recognise the correct route quickly, even in confusing situations. Depending on the model, different directional indications are available, for example right, up, down, or diagonally upwards or downwards.
The emergency signs have a photoluminescent finish. As a result, the indications remain visible even after the lighting fails. With a luminance of 55 mcd, the photoluminescent versions are significantly above the minimum values of DIN 67510. This supports orientation in corridors, stairwells, warehouses, production areas and traffic routes with restricted lighting conditions.
The series is available in different materials. Depending on the version, aluminium, plastic or self-adhesive film are available for selection. This allows the escape route signage to be selected to suit the installation location and the respective surface. In addition, various formats are available. Alongside the frequently used size 300 x 150 mm, larger models, such as 400 x 200 mm, are also offered.
The emergency signs comply with the requirements of ASR A1.3 and ISO 7010. Some directional indications are only to be used in conjunction with an additional directional arrow or a further emergency sign. The signage is suitable for businesses, warehouses, workshops, schools, public authorities and public buildings. It is ideal for all areas where escape routes need to be marked permanently, clearly visibly and in compliance with standards.
