Natural fibre absorbent agent Multi-Absorber – highly efficient absorber for rapid hazard control
The Multi-Absorber SORB®XT is a high-performance natural fibre absorbent agent on a purely organic basis. The absorbent agent is buoyant and, thanks to its immediate effectiveness, is ideally suited for professional use for spreading on and absorbing hazardous substances in case of leaks and contamination.
The absorbent agent has a grain size of 0.125 – 4.0 mm and a low bulk weight of approx. 175 g/l. This means the absorber can be easily applied and evenly distributed. Its hydrophobic and oleophilic properties enable the targeted absorption of oil and oil-like substances without binding water. The absorber works within seconds and demonstrates a high absorption capacity for a wide variety of substances such as fuels, a large number of acids, lubricants, paints, non-stabilised emulsions, brake fluids, coolants, antifreeze agents, aerosols or alkalis.
The versatile absorbent agent meets the requirements of types I, II, III-R and SF. It has been tested by the Material Testing Office of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and complies with the specifications of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. The composition is harmless to humans, animals and the environment.
This absorbent agent reliably supports companies in spreading on and removing hazardous liquids and helps to keep work areas safe and clean.
