Ball valve lockout V442 – lockout-tagout for the safe securing of ball valves
The ball valve lockout V442 ensures a reliable lockout-tagout application and secures ball valves in the off position. The robust construction made of high-quality polypropylene supports durable use and contributes to safe maintenance procedures.
Manufactured from resistant, non-conductive polypropylene, the lockout is suitable for regular use in industrial environments. It is available in two sizes and covers ball valve handles from 1/2 to 8 inches. This allows the access prevention device to be flexibly adapted to different valve sizes and used in various systems.
Fine-tuned openings for padlocks enable a snug fit around the valve handle. After attaching a lock, the lockout is securely fixed on the handle and remains in place until all maintenance or repair work is completed. In this way, the lockout-tagout solution supports clearly regulated workflows and prevents accidental operation of the valve.
The access prevention device is suitable wherever ball valves must be reliably secured in the off position during maintenance work. It reduces the risk of unauthorised intervention and helps to secure work areas in a controlled manner. At the same time, the lockout-tagout application enables clear identification of secured valves and supports compliance with operational safety regulations during maintenance and service work.
