The VIOLA linking top enables matching desks to be connected into a contiguous work surface. The pentagonal corner top is designed for a linking angle of 90° and is suitable for creating corner workstations and linked desk arrangements. This allows existing desks in the VIOLA series to be expanded with an additional work surface.
The tabletop consists of a 25 mm thick, melamine resin coated moulded chipboard. With dimensions of 1200 x 1200 mm, it forms the connecting element between the adjacent desks. The pentagonal shape enables an appropriate arrangement of the desk surfaces and complements the linear design of the VIOLA office furniture series.
The equipment includes an additional, height adjustable supporting foot. This can be adjusted in the range from 680 to 760 mm, so that the linking top can be adapted to the height of the adjacent desks. The supporting foot forms the substructure of the connecting top and is included in the scope of delivery.
When linking desks with round tubular legs, the desk legs can be moved back. This allows the position of the desk legs within the linked workstation arrangement to be altered and creates additional legroom.
The linking top is available in various top colours, including maple, beech finish, light grey, walnut and white. The supporting foot is finished in aluminium silver. Delivery is disassembled, with assembly carried out on site. Alternatively, an assembly service can be used.
