BASIC absorbent sheeting – highly absorbent rolls for leakage prevention and emergencies

The BASIC absorbent sheeting is a practical solution for absorbing and containing spilled liquids. The two-ply roll material is suitable as a work mat, underneath machines, as well as for rapid response to spills and drip leaks. Thanks to its high absorbency, only a small amount of material is required, while liquids are reliably bound and securely retained.

The upper side of the absorbent sheeting is reinforced to be hardwearing, smooth and lint-free. As a result, it remains resistant and clean even under regular use. The underside features an open, highly absorbent fine-fibre structure that absorbs liquids quickly. The fleece is dust-free, tear-resistant and possesses a high retention capacity. In this way, it supports controlled leak management and reduces the risk of liquids spreading further.

The BASIC absorbent sheeting consists of 100 % polypropylene and can therefore be disposed of easily and cost-effectively. Depending on the application area, different models are available. The oil version in blue absorbs oils, petrol and diesel, is water-repellent and floats on water. The universal model in grey is suitable for coolants, solvents and lubricants, colours, oils, water as well as weak chemicals. For acids, alkalis, alcohols and aggressive media, the chemicals version in yellow is intended.

The rolls are 40 m long and available in widths of 400 or 800 mm. On the 400 mm model, perforations every 500 mm make it easy to dispense as needed. The 800 mm version is additionally perforated down the centre lengthwise.
