This picnic bench is everything you would expect from a modern, stylish furniture design with a natural character. It includes a table and two separate benches and offers space for 6 people. With FSC® certified pine wood and a hot dip galvanised tubular steel frame, this seating is designed for long term use, even when used daily, due to its sturdy construction. Ideal for outdoor break and recreation areas in companies, public facilities, parks and leisure centres.
Due to the natural wood, resin may seep out at higher temperatures. This is a normal process that in no way damages the wood or shortens the service life. Any resin that is excreted can be carefully scratched off, or be wiped off with a little turpentine on a cloth.

ThermoWood® is pine or spruce wood that has been subject to heat treatment without the use of chemical substances. The result is a wooden product that retains its natural beauty and is significantly more hardwearing and durable. Thermal modification also provides protection from the effects of weather, fungal infestation, rot and mould.
After treatment, the wood exhibits no resin bleed, and takes on a warm brown colour that emphasises its natural aesthetics. It does not require any surface treatment and develops a beautiful silver grey patina over time, which does not impair its technical properties. If required, the wood can be oiled, painted or stained. As wood is a natural material, cracks or splits may develop.
ThermoWood® makes an impression with its long service life and is 100% recyclable. It comes from renewable Nordic forests that are managed in accordance with the strict criteria specified by the FSC certification.

Biodiversity
Biodiversity refers to the health of ecosystems and the influence on the stability of food chains, the availability of clean water, soil fertility and climate protection, among other things.
This product has more natural components than comparable products and could contribute to the protection of biodiversity. The product's natural components are based on the use of renewable materials to make the product, which in ideal cases are sourced from FSC® or PEFC certified forestry practices, and are also biodegradable after further processing. If there is any plastic in the overall product, it should be limited to the minimum possible. Protecting biodiversity is also possible on the basis of additional product sustainability certificates and when the product manufacturer/supplier has implemented an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system.

Circular economy
A circular economy is an economic system in which waste is avoided and resources are used efficiently by recirculating materials, products and waste in closed cycles and reusing them as raw materials or sources of energy for new products.
This product makes a greater contribution to achieving a circular economy. The greater contribution compared to other products is the result of several factors, including the use of hardwearing materials, the ability to be recycled, and the use of recycled materials in the product design.
