Drum tipper for pick-up, transport and dosed emptying of 200 l steel drums
The drum tipper with continuous chain and crane attachment enables safe pick-up, transport and controlled emptying of 200-litre steel drums with a diameter of 590 mm (+10/–25 mm). The robust drum handling device is suitable for steel bung drums and steel lid drums and can be used with both a forklift truck and a crane.
The drum bracket features a turning mechanism with a 360° turning range. This allows the drum contents to be emptied specifically in the desired direction. The tipping process is controlled via a continuous chain. Controlled operation enables precise tipping and turning of the drum without having to move the container manually. An eccentric clamp holds the drum securely in the bracket.
The sturdy mounting structure offers versatile application options for in-house transport. The steel base frame is equipped with drive-in brackets for pick-up with a forklift truck and with a safety mechanism to prevent accidental slipping. In addition, a crane eye makes the tipper suitable for use with a crane as well. With a max. load of 360 kg, the drum tipper is also suitable for filled 200-litre drums. The drum tipper is available with an optional painted surface in yellow orange RAL 2000 or in a zinc plated model.
