Product description
- Less contamination due to tramp oils, high cooling effect is maintained
- Reduced disposal costs due to longer service lives of cooling lubricants
- Extended service life of machines and filter systems
- Prevents the formation of bacteria
- Contribution to implementing the legal obligation to reduce waste
- High efficiency – 99% of all surface oils are removed
Effective and efficient removal of tramp oils in cooling lubricant tanks, process and chemical baths, industrial plants etc.
With its construction of electropolished stainless steel, plastic and plastic coated components, this belt skimmer is exceptionally resistant.
A special axle seal prevents chemical etching in the motor and gearbox and ensures a long service life for the product.
For the removal of tramp and surface oils in almost all areas of application, particularly suitable for use in process, chemical and ultrasonic baths, parts washing systems etc.
Removes surface oils even in acids and alkalis (pH 0 – 14).
Includes 1 belt with circumferential length 400 mm.
Alternative circumferential lengths from 600 to 2000 mm (in 200 mm increments) available, please specify in the order text.
Skimmer belts are regularly available in belt circumferential lengths in 200 mm increments.
Calculation of the suitable belt circumferential length (see also drawing):
(H + A) x 2 + 140 mm = belt circumferential length in mm
H = height of the tank (mm)
A = distance of the skimmer to the tank (if required)
Areas of application:
– In cooling lubricant tanks, process/chemical baths etc., tramp oils are removed effectively and efficiently
– In cleaning systems (ultrasonic baths, parts washing systems etc.), floating oils must be skimmed off for optimal cleaning of parts to be degreased
– In industrial plants, it is legally required to remove oils before spent process water is disposed of
– In steel processing plants and in food processing operations, it is necessary to remove oils before further work processes are carried out

Custom lengths available on request.
If the pH value deviates from the specified corridor, the maximum temperature should be reduced by 10 °C.
