Product description
- Environmentally friendly – biodegradable and chloride free
- Effective down to temperatures of max. –18 °C
- Suitable for footpaths, traffic areas, taxiways, car parks
- Particularly suitable for use in the vicinity of parks and city trees
- Especially suitable for areas with sensitive surfaces and damage prone materials
Solid, high performance de-icing agent that is easy to apply for environmentally friendly clearing of snow and ice. Provifrost NF is used as a de-icing agent on airport runways, taxiways and aprons, and is certified in accordance with AMS1431. As a rule, road salt (NaCl) cannot be used in these locations due to its corrosive effects. Free from conventional road salt (NaCl) and other chlorides – causes no damage to parks and trees. Clear areas of snow before use. Apply to the relevant areas using a suitable spreader. Use up all the de-icing agent in gritting vehicles and do not store outdoors.
Store well sealed in the original packaging until use. Reseal open containers tightly, as the product attracts moisture and can clump together. For legally compliant use, please ensure you observe the local bylaws for winter road maintenance, waste water and street cleaning when using winter road maintenance products such as gritting granules or de-icing agents.
