The 7-piece HSS-G TiALN – PREMIUM combination tap set with a stepped tip and E6 bit shank (6.35 mm) is a versatile tool for efficient drilling and tapping operations in a single step. The drills are suitable for machining steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics and can be used with drills, cordless screwdrivers or pillar drills.

The step technology enables significantly faster work, as no tool change is necessary between drilling and tapping. Stepped drill tips deliver particularly precise results, because the step geometry ensures precise spot drilling without centre-punching, even on rounded surfaces.

This creates perfectly circular holes, which significantly extends the service life of the subsequent tapping section. Stepped drilling minimises the effort required and is particularly easy on the battery when used with hand-held machines. The 135° point angle supports smooth running characteristics and reduces wandering when starting the drill. This is complemented by the split point according to Form C, which enables even chip removal.
