The countersink HSS-Co 5% TiAlN is a high-performance tool for precise and clean countersinks in a wide variety of materials. The high-quality TiAlN coating and the specially developed cutting geometry ensure a long service life as well as low-vibration working – even in demanding applications.

The unequally spaced cutting edges distribute the cutting force evenly across all edges. This reduces the feed rate, distributes wear evenly and achieves precise countersinking results without annoying chatter marks. Even with hand-held drills or drilling machines, clean and dimensionally accurate countersinks with a high surface quality are produced.

The titanium aluminium nitride coating (TiAlN) gives the tool high hot hardness and oxidation resistance. Depending on the application, it enables up to ten times longer service life or higher cutting speeds. This makes the countersink particularly suitable for economical machining processes during regular use.

The 3-flat shank ensures optimal power transmission and prevents the drill from spinning in the chuck. This ensures a secure fit and supports precise machining even under heavy loads.
