The twist drill bit HSSG with TiAlN tip step enables precise machining from the first contact with the workpiece. Its special tip geometry ensures exact centring – even on curved surfaces. This makes pinpoint spot drilling possible without prior pre-drilling.

The PREMIUM precision tool according to DIN 338 is designed as HSS type VA and is engineered for drilling in hard, demanding materials. The point angle of 130° supports a controlled start. In combination with the split point according to Form C, the drill bit grips reliably at the intended drilling point. Wandering during spot drilling is reduced. This facilitates precise machining and saves an additional work step.

The TiAlN coating of the tip step supports the precision tool under high thermal and mechanical loads. It contributes to a resistant tool surface and creates good conditions for reliable metalworking. Especially for recurring drilling, controlled processes and reproducible results are crucial.

Thanks to the cylindrical shank shape, the twist drill bit can be securely held in suitable drill chucks. The precise tool geometry enables uniform material removal and supports clean drilling even with demanding workpiece shapes.
