WELDON Core Drill Bit Set HSS-Co 5% – precise tool for fast core drilling

The WELDON Kernbohrer-Set HSS-Co 5% combines high cutting performance with significant time savings during demanding drilling tasks. The precision-ground drill bits made of high-speed steel with a 5% cobalt content enable precise drilling and impress with high wear resistance as well as a long service life.

In contrast to conventional drill bits, a core drill only removes a narrow ring of material instead of the entire drilling diameter. This removes significantly less material, reduces the effort required and noticeably accelerates the drilling process. Depending on the application, the time savings compared to conventional methods can be up to a factor of 10. At the same time, time-consuming additional steps such as pre-centring, pre-drilling and reaming are eliminated. This simplifies the workflow and increases productivity.

The precision-ground cutting edges ensure clean drill edges and high dimensional accuracy. The scope of delivery includes a spring-loaded centring and ejector pin, which guides the drill bit precisely and reliably ejects the drill core after completion of the drilling process. This facilitates handling and reduces downtime.

The drill bits are suitable both for mobile magnetic core drilling machines and for stationary pillar drilling machines. They are designed for drilling in stainless steel, steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, cast iron and plastics.
