WELDON extension set – flexible tool for greater drilling depths

The WELDON extension set expands the application range of core drills and enables precise drilling even on difficult-to-reach workpieces. With three different extensions, the tool offers a flexible solution for applications where conventional drills reach their reach.

The three-piece set includes extensions with the lengths 100, 150 and 200 mm. They are designed for core drills with a 19 mm WELDON shank from a diameter of 26 mm and can be quickly integrated into existing drilling systems. This allows drilling depths to be individually adapted to the respective task without the need for additional special tools.

The extensions are compatible with centring and ejector pins. This maintains the precise guidance of the drill and the core is reliably ejected after completion of the drilling process. This supports a smooth workflow and reduces interruptions during machining.

For particularly deep drill holes, the individual extensions can be combined with one another. They can easily be slotted into each other, creating a greater overall length. This flexible expansion option makes the tool particularly versatile and increases the range of applications in demanding steel construction projects.

The WELDON extension set is particularly suitable for drilling through both flange sides of H- and I-steel beams. In conjunction with matching drills, it enables precise drilling even with large material thicknesses and supports economical work processes in steel construction, plant engineering and industrial manufacturing.
