Oil-only absorbent sheeting mat PIG, heavy-weight model

The PIG oil-only absorbent sheeting mat in the heavy-weight model is designed for demanding leak and cleaning tasks. It reliably absorbs oil and oil-based liquids, while water is not absorbed. This makes the mat particularly suitable for production areas, workshops, machine environments, warehouses as well as for use on water bodies.

The multi-layer mat made of 100 % polypropylene is durable, absorbent and resilient. Even when fully saturated, it does not tear or fray. The permanently bonded material does not fall apart and leaves no lint behind. The work area thus remains clean, while the absorbed liquid is held securely in the absorbent sheeting.

The heavy-weight model is suitable for demanding tasks and extensive cleaning work. It can be used to cover vulnerable areas in order to absorb and contain splashes, spills and drip leaks at an early stage. The mat is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It remains buoyant on water and can therefore also be used to absorb oil contamination on the water surface.

Suitable liquids include engine oil, hydraulic oil, petrol, diesel, paraffin, acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene and xylene. The perforation across the width allows tearing off as needed and facilitates adaptation to different operating situations. With dimensions of 380 x 510 mm, the mat is easy to handle and quickly laid out on affected areas.
