Steel strapping in ribbon coils is suitable for secure strapping, bundling and securing heavy or heavily stressed goods. The high strength of the material enables reliable use in warehouses, production and transport – for example, for securing heavy packages or for bundling sturdy goods.
With a ribbon coil, the steel strapping is wound layer upon layer directly on top of each other. This creates a compact roll that can be conveniently provided and processed at the packing station with a suitable strap dispenser. Depending on requirements, various strap widths and surface finishes are available, including waxed as well as waxed and blued versions.
When processing sharp-edged strapping, wearing gloves and safety goggles is recommended to minimise the risk of injury.
