Standard collapsible wooden box – ratioform with top

The wooden folding box standard without skids is a stable and robust packaging solution for storage, transport and worldwide dispatch of goods. The foldable plywood construction combines high load-bearing capacity with a comparatively low tare weight and is ideally suited for machine components, spare parts, technical components as well as many other goods for shipping. Compared to comparable solid wood boxes, the construction is around 50 % lighter, which can reduce transport costs and simplify handling.

The box consists of three elements – a wrap-around side section and a lid for the top and bottom. Thanks to the well-thought-out system, it can be assembled within a few minutes without nails, straps or fittings. Zinc plated steel profiles on the edges additionally increase stability and protect the packaging during transport, handling and storage.

When folded, the wooden box requires very little storage space and is therefore particularly suitable for companies with varying shipping volumes. Due to the model in accordance with the ISPM-15 standard, it is approved for international export and can be used without any problems for shipping to numerous countries worldwide. Optionally, models with UN approval for certain dangerous goods applications are available. Thus, the wooden folding box standard offers a reliable and economical solution for demanding export and transport tasks.
