UNI storage tank – safe storage and in-house transport
The UNI storage tank is designed for the safe storage and in-house transport of fresh and waste oil, diesel and heating oil with a flash point above 55 °C. Depending on requirements, the tank is available with a capacity of 400, 750, 1000 or 1500 litres. This makes it suitable for workshops, vehicle fleets, production facilities, building yards and agricultural operations.
The double-walled construction consists of zinc-plated sheet steel and an inner container made of HDPE. An integrated, zinc-plated sheet steel sump tray provides additional safety during storage. To check the tank contents, the UNI features a level indicator. A visual leakage indicator makes any leaks quickly visible.
For in-house handling, the storage tank is equipped with a steel foot pallet that can be driven under from the long side. This allows it to be picked up with a stacker or pallet truck and moved within the facility. For tank sizes up to 1000 litres, the low overall height enables filling without an additional step. Four connections with a 2-inch internal thread on the top of the tank offer flexible options for filling and extraction.
The storage tank is finished in grey and is delivered assembled. It has a general building authority approval from the DIBt, Berlin, and is intended for indoor use as well as covered outdoor areas. The respective legal regulations apply to installation; according to the product information, storage tanks may only be set up in buildings with at least two adjacent walls and a roof.
