Product description
High quality and hardwearing professional planing benches made of solid red beech from locally sourced, PEFC certified forestry.
Sturdy base: a tubular steel tension rod is embedded in the reinforcing links at the top and bottom, which is used to screw in the sturdy feet. The holes for the feet allow the links to be moved downwards to retrofit a pull-out compartment.
Hardwearing tail vice with high quality aluminium box guide. Front vice with parallel clamps and stable flat iron guide at the side to exert uniform pressure over the entire width of the vice, even when the load on one side of the clamping jaw is heavier.
Interlocking glued panel on the long side for highest possible join strength. Worktop dimensions 2000 x 640 mm.
Worktop thickness 120 mm. With 2 pairs of round aluminium dogs. Front vice clamping width 215 mm, tail vice 240 mm. Overall dimensions width x depth x height 2080 x 850 x 900 mm.

Biodiversity
Biodiversity refers to the health of ecosystems and the influence on the stability of food chains, the availability of clean water, soil fertility and climate protection, among other things.
This product has more natural components than comparable products and could contribute to the protection of biodiversity. The product's natural components are based on the use of renewable materials to make the product, which in ideal cases are sourced from FSC® or PEFC certified forestry practices, and are also biodegradable after further processing. If there is any plastic in the overall product, it should be limited to the minimum possible. Protecting biodiversity is also possible on the basis of additional product sustainability certificates and when the product manufacturer/supplier has implemented an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system.
Circular economy
A circular economy is an economic system in which waste is avoided and resources are used efficiently by recirculating materials, products and waste in closed cycles and reusing them as raw materials or sources of energy for new products.
This product makes a greater contribution to achieving a circular economy. The greater contribution compared to other products is the result of several factors, including the use of hardwearing materials, the ability to be recycled, and the use of recycled materials in the product design. Sustainable packaging is also factored into any assessment within a circular economy.
