Half mask series 4000+ – comfortable respirator with integrated filters
The maintenance free 3M™ half mask series 4000+ offers effective respiratory protection in a ready-to-use and user-friendly complete solution. Integrated, maintenance free filter elements and an improved exhalation valve make the protective mask particularly comfortable – even during longer periods of use in warm and humid working environments.
The improved exhalation valve reduces resistance when exhaling. At the same time, the build-up of heat and moisture inside the respirator is reduced. This makes breathing easier and supports a more comfortable wearing experience during physically demanding activities.
Two large-area activated carbon filters ensure low breathing resistance. Since the filter elements are already firmly integrated, the protective mask is ready for immediate use and does not require any complex filter assembly. It can be used until a replacement is necessary according to the filter replacement schedule or the filter elements are saturated. Subsequently, the complete mask is professionally disposed of.
A soft, skin-friendly and silicone-free face seal increases wearing comfort. The adjustable head harness adapts to different head shapes and sizes and supports a secure fit. An easy-to-fasten neck strap also simplifies handling.
The lightweight, balanced and low-profile design of the respirator hardly restricts the field of vision and enables good peripheral vision. A resealable bag is included for hygienic storage and protected transport. The half mask is suitable as effective and comfortable respiratory protection against organic gases, vapours and particles.
Filter class FFA2P3 R D protects against organic gases and vapours as well as particles up to 30 times the limit value (boiling point above 65 °C).
