Heavy-duty lanyard with energy absorber – reliable fall protection for demanding applications

The heavy-duty lanyard with integrated energy absorber serves as a secure connection between fixed or mobile anchor points and the fall arrest harness. It was specially developed to reliably arrest falls from height and significantly reduce the forces generated during free falls. This prevents serious injuries that can occur even at fall heights of more than 50 cm without an energy absorber.

The core-sheath fall arrest rope consists of a 12,5 mm thick, braided nylon rope (6.6 tex) with high abrasion and cut resistance. The integrated energy absorber combines an energy-absorbing tear webbing with a polyester safety strap with a width of 45 mm, which provides additional safety as soon as the maximum extension of the absorber is reached.

Thanks to its robust construction, the lanyard is suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications. It can be used, for example, for work on flat roofs, in industrial plants, on construction sites or during maintenance work. The model meets the requirements for use on edges with a minimum radius of 0,5 mm.

The product complies with the standards EN 355, PPE-R/11.074 and PPE-R/11.062 and is designed for professional fall arrest systems with a max. load of over 100 kg.
