Multi-purpose hoists are portable devices for lifting, pulling and tensioning. They provide constant safety when operating in any position and any direction, providing that they can be aligned with the pulling direction. There is one operating lever each for lifting and lowering. By moving the plugged-in level pipe back and forth, two pairs of clamping jaws move the rope through the device in alternation.
The rope length (= working path) is practically unlimited. The mechanism is self-locking, and the rope pulls the clamping jaws together when under load. The grip hoist can be released when there is no load. The rope can then be retracted and pre-tensioned by hand, and be pulled out again after finishing work.
