Task assignment
At the WILO Smart Factory, some of which is new, some of which has been converted, the need arose for a larger number of factory offices as well as a partition system. The room concept needed to allow the configuration of workplaces within the factory.
Solution
A flexible factory office system that even allows conversions to be carried out easily and economically at short notice – regardless of whether the factory office is being converted, extended or relocated.

Multitasking from a single source
During project planning and realisation, it was important to consider and coordinate many different factors. This spanned everything from the individual products, the availability and delivery date of which had to be coordinated with key steps in the project, to the requirement that the room concept must allow maximum flexibility while also satisfying the highest standards in quality, sustainability and noise insulation.
A major factor in the project’s success was the planning and support. This ensured that everyone kept to the schedule and that even the customer’s last-minute requests for changes could be implemented immediately.

A particular challenge
The planning and implementation of the flexible factory offices was carried out at the same time as the WILO Smart Factory was being built and converted. This made the schedule very tight, as other processes involved also had to be taken into account, such as hooking up the power, laying the floor, and installing the machinery.
